G Dragon dating Top Japanese Model

K-pop idol G-Dragon is reportedly going out with Japanese fashion model Kiko Mizuhara, as headlined in Japanese media .

The 21-year-old star (real name Kwon Ji-yong), a member of the music group Big Bang, is dating Mizuhara, who is now the exclusive model for the Japanese fashion magazine “ViVi,” Sankei Sports said, citing multiple sources.

Mizuhara, born in 1990 to an American father and Korean mother, and raised in Kobe is fluent in Korean, English, and Japanese.

Sankei said G-Dragon, who made a debut in Japan in June last year, is having a “serious relationship” with Mizuhara. “The romance about a Korean music group leader was revealed for the first time,” it reported.

Their relationship began shortly after G-Dragon began his activities in Japan last year, and he is maintaining a “shuttle date” routine between Korea and Japan, juggling his busy schedule.

Mizuhara often visited Big Bang’s dressing room at concert venues, and other group members also have friendly relations with her.

“Mizuhara’s model colleagues also know that the two are dating,” Sankei said.

Meanwhile, YG Entertainment, an agency for G-Dragon, said on Sunday it’s true that G-Dragon and Mizuhara are good friends, but their relationship is not serious romance.

So Ji-sub denies he will marry Han Ji-min

Actor So Ji-sub has denied a rumor that he will marry actress Han Ji-min. During an interview with local news media, he mentioned his relationship with her.  I am sorry for her. She must have suffered more than I because she’s an actress.”

He added “since the marriage rumor, I have and could not get in touch with her.”

“Also, or now, I have no plan to get married. I would consider marriage when I’m around my 40s.”

Asked about his ideal type of woman, he said it is different from time to time, but he likes someone who can make him feel comfortable.

After So Ji-sub and Han Ji-min co-starred in the KBS soap opera “Cain & Abel, rumors started that they would get married in December, even though the two had never admitted to being in a relationship.  Recent pictures showing So and Han wearing the same rings added fuel to the rumor.

So is currently starring as Lee Jang-woo in the MBC soap opera “Road No. 1,” which depicts love and friendship during the Korean War (1950-53).

It's been quite a long time that 13 members of Super Junior had been seen complete on stage but the remaining boys still manage to pull out a successful promotion and now preparing for highly anticipated Super Show in Seoul.

We all know where Kangin and Hangeng are, but how about Kibum? Recently, these official photos of Kibum shocked Super Junior fans, based from these photos he seemed that he attended Jecheon International Music Film Festival last August 12.

It's been months since we haven't seen or heard anything from him, he obviously gained weight and grew his hair longer but still looking good with that enigmatic smile.

Cory Remembered

Filipinos and democracy loving people all over the world paid tribute today to democracy icon Corazon "Cory" Aquino, who helped lead a "people power" revolt that ousted a dictator and whose death last year became a springboard for her son's triumphant run for the Philippine Presidency.

President Benigno "P-Noy" Aquino III led one of several tributes to his mother, calling on Filipinos to continue her struggle for democracy by helping him confront his Southeast Asian nation's illnesses, including poverty and pervasive corruption.

"The clamor of our people for change is so deep," Aquino said during a memorial Mass for his mother held at a suburban Manila gymnasium used as a venue for many pro-democracy protests. "None of us can afford to be bystanders."

Aquino called his late mother "one extraordinary woman," who remains deeply beloved a year after she died following yearlong battle with colon cancer at 76.

To commemorate her 1st death aniversary, college students line the edge of a 200- by 250- foot photo mosaic of the late former President at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila yesterday. The mosaic is composed of 3,200 pictures and weighs almost four tons.

Wanted: New Asian Girl Group

Wonder Girls! better watch out. A new Asian girl group will soon emerge to snatch their popularity across Asia .

FarWest Entertainment - a production company helmed by former Walt Disney Company of Asia Pacific President Jon Niermann -- and a group of Asian partners are behind a fledgling girl band enterprise called “Project Lotus.”

The concept behind “Project Lotus” is simple
Get five talented girls from Korea, Japan, China, India and the Philippines. Pair them up with Grammy Award-winning producers Eliot Kennedy and Brian (in photo) Grant. Give them songs composed by prominent song writers like Take That’s Gary Barlow. Get it all down on film and drop it on the world.

In the midst of pre-auditions, FarWest and team are busy culling talent from a variety of outlets, including the Internet, where hopefuls can upload their audition videos onto Project Lotus’ website (www.projectlotus.tv), Facebook page or their YouTube channel.

To date 850 girls have sent in their clips. The number could more than double by the Aug. 2 submission deadline.  Applicants need to be Asian women aged 18 to 25 who can speak English and sing and dance. Clips should feature hopefuls singing an English-language pop song.

Kwon Sang-Woo Charged for Hit & Run

Popular Actor Kwon Sang-Woo has been slapped with a heftier fine than usual for the June 12 hit and run incident that caused media frenzy.

The Seoul Central District Court ordered him to pay a 7 million won fine for fleeing the scene of an accident he caused last month.

The judgment handed is 2 million won more than the usual fine imposed by the Seoul Central District Court for hit and run charges involving only property damage.

The additional penalty was tacked on by the court, which said that the 34-year-old Hallyu star “had a social responsibility to maintain as a public figure.”

Kwon turned himself in on June 14, two days after the incident. He was charged with fleeing the scene of a vehicular accident after driving into a pair of parked car one of which was a police cruiser then a tree.

According to police reports, Kwon fled the scene on foot at around 2:55 a.m. on June 12, after he had crashed into a Genesis sedan and reversed into a police cruiser before hitting a nearby tree that put a stop to his Cadillac.

Many speculations came out that Kwon fled the scene because he was under the influence of alcohol at the time. However, Kwon later stated that he ran away out of fear. Soon after the incident was widely publicized, his agent released an official statement saying the accident was caused by Kwon’s inexperience behind the wheel. While many had expected his troubles with the law to affect box office figures for his latest film, “Into the Fire,” the Korean War picture has attracted respectable attendance figures thus far, with ticket sales passing 3 million since its release on June 16. As a result of his, producers of the film and Kwon’s camp have excluded him from nationwide promotional tours.

On June 21, Kwon released a handwritten letter of apology to fans through his official website.

“To all my fans and those who care about me, I can only bow my head and apologize,” he wrote. “For about a month I have been spending time alone at home reflecting on my regrettable actions.

“As a public figure, I should have known better and should have acted by the laws of our society. But because of my misguided judgment at the time I have disappointed you all and I am deeply hurt because of it.”

Kwon is set to return on the small screen in October with the upcoming SBS television series “Dae Mul” with Koh Hyun-jung and Cha In-pyo.
