Synthesized Dara

I've been thinking of posting this a long time ago and
while watching 2NE1 music videos now I decided to just give it a go.

Before, 2NE1 released their debut single "FIRE" most of the Kpop Blog Sites run by Koreans said that Dara was the 'weakest link' among the group, to cut it short they don't like her singing voice.

I think, I'm starting to understand why. Her voice was always synthesized when she sings her part (Fire, I Don't Care an so on...), isn't YG very obvious and want to imply that her voice was not really good? Even her "Kiss" solo was synthesized! Why did they get her to join 2NE1, really? Did YG really proved to himself that Dara is a real commodity after the release of Lollipop? Another one is that I also noticed that Dara only got a one liner part in their songs.

I saw an episode of Ellen DeGeneres Show and she mentioned how fun it is that people can now sing even they don't have a good voice with help of (synthesizer).

Just to ponder, Is Dara really a liability in 2NE1?
