Save for the Avel Bacudio fashion show and the inspiring messages shared by Olyn Lim, Sam YG, Jason Magbanua, Camille Farinas-Mathay and Charmaine Palermo, the presence of Kiko Junio, Aljur Abrenica and Sam O at the
Medicol Advance the Nation event as per the invitation of
Nuffnang. We bloggers were invited to
bring a friend and register at 10am but we were
not informed that the event (November 8) would actually
start at 3pm and last until 7:30pm(!) and hey it was a Sunday, a day when were supposed to be home with our family!

I waited until 7:30pm because I wanted to listen to Raymund Isaac but he was no longer given the floor because the event turned into an Aljur Abrenica autograph signing session(!) and because I was expecting at least to win (not for me but for the guests I invited) the
i-pod and the major price -
a trip for 2 to Boracay . Unfortunately, instead of two winners (or was it three?) it was instantly given to only
1 very lucky winner(!) after announcing it repeatedly during the
loooooong breaks! And during this long break people were waiting what's next and we were just left amusing ourselves and staring at people at the wall as seen on the big screen placed at the center of the stage

... oh Aljur is coming we were later informed and Raymund Isaac, who was later relegated to the side booth/sofa for a one-on-one session (kuno!). Then I asked a Staffer for a Media Kit as reference as to the background of all the speakers and they gave me a blank stare and left me standing like a fool as they look for their "superior". OMG! I'm an events organizer myself and I am totally amazed if I asked "something new" or something out of this world. Feeling stupid, I returned to my seat and I was later informed that they will just e-mail me. sigh...

OMG! (again) I came to this event even if I got sick the night before, but since I invited some friends I had no choice but to be there and accompany them. And this is what I got a
bigger headache! All I wanted to do right now is to get a medicine and please...
not Medicol!
