Korea's top designers was in the spotlight at the recently concluded Seoul Fashion Week - Spring/Summer collection for 2010. This season's line-up was leaner but stronger, since the SFW organizers sought to pick more globally competitive Korean designers to position them for world spotlight.
Seoul Fashion Week featured designers who are making inroads in foreign markets, including Andy & Debb, Lee Young-hee, Han Song, Song Zio, Song Jain and Lee Doii.
Also invited were renowned foreign designers Phillip Lim, Damir Doma and Richard Nicoll to stage their shows, not just to bring glamour and international flair but also inspire local designers to pursue global markets.
All I can say is that the Korean government is really bent on helping local designers reach the global stage!
