Best Cleanser for 2009

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser was cited as one of the best beauty buys for 2009 by international fashion publication InStyle magazine. The product was named the “Best Cleanser for Dry Skin” and “Best Cleanser for Sensitive Skin” in the annual beauty survey, the facial wash was distinguished for its ultra-mild, soap-free formulation.

The six-month “Best Beauty Buys” survey conducted by Elizabeth Lamont Mendoza and reported by Nicole Crane in the April 2009 issue of InStyle magazine involved 163 reviews from dermatologists, make-up artists, and beauty editors on thousands of beauty products.

Respondents claimed that the gentle, milky cleanser was ideal even on the most sensitive of complexions because it removed dirt without stripping off the skin’s natural oils to keep it soft and supple.
