Miss Universe 2009 Result

I was very eager and woke up early to watch the most prestigious beauty pageant in the universe. The 58th Annual MISS UNIVERSE competition was held LIVE at Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas, (Sunday) August 23rd on NBC and August 24th, 9:30 am at ABSCBN Philippines.

The event was hosted by Billy Bush and Claudia Jordan. I quote Billy Bush said to the judges "think wisely and don't embarrass us", because on my view- there are other contestants that are more beautiful, tall and hopefully intelligent than some of those who made it in Top 15.

One of the judges that I recognized was Dean Cain and 2007 Miss Universe Riyo Mori who didn't make it on the event but were able to asked her question to Miss Puerto Rico via Skype.

Performers are Flo Rida during the Swimsuit Competition, David Guetta and Kelly Rowland for the Long Gown Competition and Heidi Montag. I think she didn't sing her Body Language single live. "The song comes from Montag’s debut album Unleashed, which was released in July. Along with her music career, Montag is a cast member on the hit MTV show “The Hills.”

Cheers to the new Miss Universe Stefania Fernandez (18). A back to back win for Venezuela. A little side comment to 2008 Miss Universe, she's so *#$%&* clumsy dropping the new PEACE crown. Ugh! so stu***! The beautiful PEACE crown was voted through www.choosethecrown.com/.

Unfortunate our very own and Miss Korea wasn't able to make it in Top 15. Though they didn't make it, I am very sure that they had a great time at the beautiful islands of Bahamas.

Is it just me or what? I had a feeling that the judges are some kind of bias to USA. Sorry guys, this is my opinion. I'm not saying that I'm beautiful but she's one of the shortest among the TOP 15 and she's not that beautiful compared to other contestants. Photo Credits to Miss Universe Site.
