FAREWELL CORY

From ordinary people and supporters to public officials and democrats, friends, family members, joined together for the last mass of former President Corazon Aquino.

A while ago, the officiating priests blessed the Democracy Icon for the last time before she was brought out for the salute and funeral procession to Manila Cemetery. The mass was so emotional, specially when her celebrity daughter Kris Aquino said her farewell to their mother. Singers Dulce, Zsa-zsa Padilla, Piolo Pascual, Leah Salonga, Regine Velasquez and other singers rendered a commemorating sad songs for Cory and her family.

Outside Manila Cathedral, people waited and don't mind if they were soaked under the rain, shouting "Cory" with their hands doing the L sign or Laban (Fight) sign to give their support to the family. Yellow confetti showered them when the coffin was brought out.

At the moment, the funeral procession is near Taft Avenue, Kris Aquino and their whole family are following in a coaster. They whole place was packed with people, waving with yellow ribbons, posters, flags, flowers and balloons.
