Another Ambassador

The world's first Panda Goodwill Ambassador is Song Hyegyo, she was recently appointed at a ceremony in Beijing, China.

At the Panda Reserve in Chengdu, Sichuan province, Song Hye Kyo spent four days to understand more of her new advocacy. The huggable panda on her lap is about 8 or 9 months old.

Song stated that it was her first time to experience and see pandas, she only gets to veiw them in pictures, documentaries or in movies and seeing one up close is like a dream. Song also mentioned, that there are many other animals that needs protection such as the Korean Otter which is South Korea's National Treasure. As an Ambassador, Song hopes for support and attention for environmental protection.
