Francine Prieto? Nope! Since this is a K-pop blog, I reckon this is also good thing to add from time to time a new breed of artists.

Nylon Magazine features Karen Lee Orzolek (Karen O) who got a little recognition from the Kpop community. If she's a new sound to your ears, Karen O is the lead vocalist of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, a New York based alternative rock band.

Probably unknown to many, Orzolek is actually half Korean. Born in South Korea with a Korean mom and a Polish- American dad. O is raised in Englewood, New Jersey.
