Super Junior's Twitter followers can make them #1 Worldwide!

Recently Super Junior appeared on MBC Chuseok Special "Radio Star Super Show"  and they explained that, "If we calculate it individually, it's... hard to become first but if we combined the total of our followers in Twitter we could be could be No.1 worldwide.

Super Junior said modestly "In the case of the 4th album, it ranked 7th in the worldwide top sales. It's a temporary position and it's the album total, but because we were 7th we were surprised. Album sales reached about 300 000copies, It's probably because those days the music industry is in recession.

TVXQ Chosen by Viewers for 'Ellen Degeneres Show' as a Rising Star

TVXQ Chosen by Viewers for 'Ellen Degeneres Show' as a Rising Star

TVXQ has been chosen by viewers of a famous American talk show as 'the foreign artiste who should be introduced to Ellen'.

In the 'Send Ellen Your International Music Suggestions!' event that began on NBC's 'Ellen Degeners Show' homepage in January, TVXQ received over 20,000 suggestions and was recorded as the artiste most suggested by netizens. This was achieved by a collaborative effort of fans in Korea as well as in Asia.

Many of the suggestions included the popularity of TVXQ/Tohoshinki in Japan and in Asia in general. This seems to be the work of fans across Asia coming together for a common cause.

With TVXQ being chosen as the singer with the most suggestions, many wonder if TVXQ will appear on the 'Ellen Degeneres Show'. The 'Ellen Degeneres Show' is a representative talk show in America alongside 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' and is popular with around 10 million households tuning in. Even just appearing on the show will be a strong foundation for an entry into the American music market for TVXQ. The Ellen Degeneres Show homepage did state that the singer with the most suggestions may be asked to appear on the show.

Regarding this, TVXQ's agency SM Entertainment stated, "We did hear about this but we have not yet received an official invitation." He also continued to say, "Currently, TVXQ is split between U-Know Yunho-Choikang Changmin, and Xiah Junsu-YoungWoong Jaejoong-Micky Yoochun. At the current situation, it would not be easy for the five members to appear on the show together." Currently, TVXQ is performing only in important events in Japan.

Family Outing Compansates Big Time

Family Outing Compansates Big Time

Wow, to compensate for the absence of Big Bang's Funny Guy Daesung, Family Outing is not giving one surprise but TWO! Mysterious/Awkward dude Kim Hyun Joong will grace the show. I wonder what will Yoo Jaesuk do with KHJ?

We had seen KHJ in a reality/variety show We Got Married, I missed his awkward face when he's around with new people. Do you still remember it? Family Outing with Hyun Joong will air on September 20th and 27th.

Youtube uploaders and translators, get ready~ 'cause I don't do it anymore.

Sexy Taecyeon

Sexy Taecyeon

Seems like Taecyeon is in the Hot Seat!

I had a feeling that after the MNET Scandal Taecyeon is now being noticed, I mean MORE! Compared before and to Jaebom.

In my opinion he is hotter, sexier and more good looking to Jaebom. Sorry Jaebom fans!

Even Jung Eun unnie can't help herself, specially when MY Taecyeon placed her hand on her lower tummy and hold her close to him. She can't even look at him when they danced. Oh! so jealous!

Korea's Got Talent (?)

Korea's Got Talent (?)

Veteran girl group Jewelry recently released the MV for “Rally,” the theme song of new reality/talent program, “Superstar K.” It is basically Korea’s answer to “Britain/America’s Got Talent,” where they invite ordinary people to showcase their talent for approval of celebrity judges Lee Hyori, ex-Boowhal vocalist Lee Seung-chul, and R&B diva Insooni, with guest celebrity judges appearing in future episodes.

The MV is basically a mash-up of their performances on Mnet M!Countdown and scenes from Superstar K. “Rally” is very impressive and if you listen and immerse yourself with it, you will feel its beat and energy.

Star Junior Show

Star Junior Show

Super Junior Shindong and Yesung were guests on the SBS program "Star Junior Show" last July 4, Yesung's mother Im Bo Kyung was there and they shared their past and shed tears. Before the end of the show, Yesung’s mother read her letter saying,

“To the most handsome/cool guy in the world, mom's boyfriend Yesung. Not buying ice-cream on hot summer days and walking that long way to school, saving the bus money to buy music tapes. Do you remember? Not believing that you could love music so much that you didn't even study, i broke your most treasured audio set. That night, you, who had never once talked back and always stayed calm couldn't hold back you anger and broke the cabinet with your fists. At that time me and your father didn't know that you had such a big dream, now that you've become an adult watching you embrace me and your fathers imperfections and loving them, me and your father feel very secure. Lets walk side by side as your big dreams come true. Mom and dad really do love you a lot. I love you.”

Yesung is one of my favorite Super Junior members, so I was moved when I watched this episode.

Jo Kwon has a Girlfriend?

Jo Kwon has a Girlfriend?

OMONA! I can't beleive this! Jo Kwon? Is it the end?

2AM’s Jo Kwon and girlfriend in a controversial show, “Mnet Scandal” was next in line. Like his JYPE mates Nickhun and Taecyeon, Jo Kwon will have the chance to date a non-showbiz girl for a week.

I never thought of him as manly as this, look at the abs! At first, I really thought he was gay! After his Gee and So Hot performances. Sorry, that's a personal opinion. After this I could add him to my Gobstopper's List! His photos with this girl gave me a locked jaw. But this is just a photo, let's judge the whole romantic thing after we've seen it, the first episode of Jo Kwon’s Scandal airs on tomorrow (July 1).

Super Junior and SNSD Again?

Super Junior and SNSD Again?

Super Junior and SNSD were gathered once again not to watch the Pussycat Dolls Concert and not to Donate Blood as well. They were gathered once again to play music and sing together on MBC's "Music Travel Lalala" yesterday.

They were invited on the program to present the leading idol groups of Korea. To those who cannot believe, I know! You're thinking what I'm thinking? Let's say; okay, Super Junior and Girls Generation are popular but how did they came up with the conclusion that they are the leading idol groups today?

I love Super Junior so much there's nothing to argue with that but is it because Big Bang, Wonder Girls, DBSK and others are out of the country? They are chosen because they no one left to compete with them?

Hmm...??

Eeteuk, Kangin, Sungmin, Ryuwook, Kyuhyun, Yesung Donghae, Taeyeon, Jessica, Tiffany, Sunny and Seohyun were the only members on the show, they performed big hits from ABBA, Kim Ahjoong, Kim Jongseo, Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant's "Way Back into Love" and of course, they will not leave the show without their very own songs Sorry Sorry and Gee.

I cannot let this comment pass, "They sang each others songs Gee & Sorry Sorry fantabulously!!!" This is how I like singers sing other people's songs. Whew! They don't copy! I Love it! Great job! To Sungmin's Falling Slowly Version even if he perform it alone, I think it is way better than Hyun Joong's. Do you agree?

Anyway, let's just listen to their performances.

It's Taec's Turn

It's Taec's Turn

Taecyeon is not one of my super faves in 2PM so I don't mind about this episode of MNET Scandal.

His date (Seo Ji Hyun)is fine but not that cute, she looks quite old for taec but I could say that she ws able to carry the whole episode with her sweet charm. I don't think Taec could sing 10 out of 10 to her. I could imagine Taec's face after the date. Sorry!~~

Find out the girls reactions when they found out Taec's date was on the event.

I'm looking forward for next week's continuation.

Yoon Tae-young Tears His Knee

Yoon Tae-young Tears His Knee

Actor Yoon Tae-young of the “The Legend” fame has torn his knee cartilage during the filming of MBC drama “Strike Love 2009.” Playing the leading character Oh Hye-sung, Yoon was shooting a scene in the baseball drama in which he had to slide into the first base, but he hit the ground with his knee, injuring it severely. Yoon was rushed to the hospital, where an MRI revealed that he needed surgery. However, due to his TV schedule, Yoon has decided to postpone the operation until after the filming wrapped up. He said he will tough it out with pain killers until then. The doctors say that it would take about eight weeks for him to recover from surgery and walk as before.

“Strike Love 2009” is based on the iconic comic book “Alien Baseball Team.” Drawn by highly respected cartoonist Lee Hyun-se, “Alien Baseball Team” is about a squad of misfits, who form a formidable baseball team. The drama also stars Kim Min-jeong as the female lead, Choi Eom-ji.
