Rainbow 's Gossip Girl Review

DSPE's newest addition "Rainbow", is a girl group consisting of 7 girls. DSPE already chart-topping groups such as SS501 an Kara, so I'm anticiapting how this group will go. Also, this year seems to be coming up with a LOT more new groups, some namely Lady Collection, SHU-I, JQT (3 of the 4 members from an old group that was sort of the 2005 girls version of Super Junior" i-13), BS2T and such. Our K-Artistes have such CUTE Engrish! I can never get enough of their Engrish. For me, I would say the HOOK (part of the song that is always stuck in your head) of "Gossip Girl" would be either "I wanna Gossip Girl..." or "Do You Wanna Say..." The rap is not too bad, but I can say I've heard better. What do you guys think of DSPE's Rainbow? Will they shine like the 7 seven colours of the rainbow? Or will they disappear behind the clouds when the sun comes out?

SBS Love Sharing Concert Performances

The second stage performance of CL and Minji was awesome, they come completely controlled the crown. These two big performer blends really well, they never overshadow each other. The fashion was very 2NE1-ish, street urban outfit that fits their personality and age.

Thumbs up for 2PM, they once again had the crowd marveling at their heartbeat-stopping dance moves. 2PM didn’t have to say a word, their glammy-goth style and electric concert-show performance says it all.

As usual, a flawless performance from Taeyang. As I listen to the song and watch his moves and his back-up dancers, I recall the beat of Justin Timberlake's "My Love". I'm not saying that it's another plagiarism in the making but the song's rhythm sounds like it.

Would SS501 get the number 1 spot or the finale for this concert if Hyun Joong (Ji Hoo) didn't join the BOF? Unlikely, the song and it's accompanying video and the army of SS501 fans and JiHoo fans -- and their accompanying Asian fans-- never for a moment felt played out.

Another Girl Group called Rainbow from DSP Entertainment recently have their Debut Performance on Inkigayo. How will you rate them? Is the name so cliche? Are they good or another copycat? Will they last long, like next Fin.K.L or KARA?

For me the song is quite catchy because of the title and they repeatedly mentioned it throughout the song, like Wonder Girls' "Nobody, nobody but Chu!" but nothing more than that. Anyway, we'll see. Let's give them a shot to prove themselves. To keep you more entertained here's some of the tracks from YT.
