Even well into her fifties, the Material Girl is not slowing down. Madonna is releasing Celebration this month, a compendium of her hits throughout the years.

Madonna personally selected the songs herself, cover the vast expanse of her extraordinary and illustrious career, including “Everybody,” “Express Yourself,” “Vogue” and “4 Minutes.”

The CD also carries two new songs, including the single also titled “Celebration.” Celebration will be available in a two-CD set as well as a single CD.

There will also be a Celebration DVD released simultaneously that includes the video visionary’s best videos including several that have never before been available on DVD. In the Philippines, the CD will be distributed by Warner Music Phils.

Madonna shares Spiritual Awakening

After decades as an ultimate performer, Madonna is making her debut as an Israeli newspaper correspondent with a piece talking about her spiritual awakening.

Writing in Friday's edition of the daily Yediot Ahronot, the Material Girl informs readers that upon discovering Jewish mysticism "all the puzzle pieces started falling into place."

Madonna is bringing her Sticky & Sweet tour to Israel in September, which no doubt explains the timing of her journalism debut.

But she also has ties to Israel and Judaism through her involvement with the Los Angeles-based Kabbalah Center. She has taken the Hebrew name Esther and made a pilgrimage to Israel in 2004 along with other Kabbalah devotees.
